Canary Island Date Palm at harvest time with birds

The Canary Island Date Palm is symbolic of longevity, elegance and wealth, the Anna’s Hummingbirds are symbolic of tireless joy, the Hooded Orioles are symbolic of creativity and vitality and the White-breasted Nuthatch is symbolic of determination and wisdom. To me, Canary date palms look like celebration and that is what I wanted to convey when I was painting this piece.
